Cursor Pack Catalog: Packs and assets that may be uploaded by users, created by third parties, include fan art, or be curated/republished from publicly available sources

Downloadable Assets: Cursor packs and related design materials made available for personal, non-commercial use (unless otherwise stated by a rights holder)

Browser Extensions: Extensions for supported browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) to customize the cursor and related UI

Platform role: We host and display content; we do not necessarily create or own every pack, image, character depiction, or description shown on the Services.

4. Accounts & Security (if applicable)

Certain features may require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at [email protected].

5. Licenses & Use Rights

Your rights and restrictions when using our Services:

Personal License: Unless expressly stated otherwise, downloadable assets and extensions are licensed, not sold, for personal, non-commercial desktop/browser customization only.

No commercial rights: You may not sell, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit cursor packs or related assets obtained through the Services without permission from the applicable rights holder.

Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of our Software or Site materials, except as permitted by applicable law or license terms.

Updates: We may provide automatic updates that improve performance or add features. These updates are subject to these Terms.

Third-party assets: A personal license from us does not transfer ownership of third-party trademarks, characters, or copyrighted works that may appear in a pack.

6. User Content

If the Services allow you to submit, upload, or publish content (including cursor packs, images, names, descriptions, reviews, or feedback) ("User Content"), you retain ownership of your rights in that User Content, subject to the licenses below.

By submitting User Content, you grant Custom Cursor World a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting/technical reasons), display, distribute, and otherwise use the User Content as needed to operate, promote, and improve the Services.

You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to submit the User Content and to grant the license above; (b) the User Content does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any third-party intellectual property, publicity, privacy, or other rights; (c) the User Content is not unlawful, defamatory, or harmful; and (d) if the User Content includes fan art or depictions of third-party characters/brands, you understand that underlying rights may belong to those third parties and you remain responsible for your submission.

Removal rights: We may remove, disable, or refuse any User Content at any time, including upon notice of alleged infringement, without prior notice and without liability. Rights holders may use our DMCA Policy.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Services for any of the following prohibited activities:

Attempting to access the Services or related systems without authorization
Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Services
Uploading malicious code, violating others' intellectual property or privacy rights, or using the Services for unlawful activities
Uploading or distributing content you do not have the right to share, including unauthorized commercial use of third-party characters, brands, or copyrighted works
Scraping, data mining, bulk downloading, or automated use not expressly permitted
Using the Services to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content

Violation consequences: Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your access to the Services.

8. Third-Party Services & Links

The Services may link to third-party websites or integrate third-party services (e.g., analytics, ads). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and privacy policies.

9. Intellectual Property; Fan Art & Aggregated Content

Our website branding, software, documentation, and original materials that we create are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Cursor packs and related materials on the Services may include user uploads, third-party creations, fan art, or content curated from publicly available sources. We do not claim ownership of third-party characters, trademarks, logos, brands, or copyrighted works that may appear in such materials. Those rights remain with their respective owners. Names and depictions are used for identification and descriptive purposes only. No affiliation or endorsement is implied.

No clearance warranty: We do not guarantee that any pack has been authorized by every relevant rights holder. Personal, non-commercial use is the default expectation; commercial use may require separate permission from rights holders.

10. Paid Features & Billing (if applicable)

Prices, features, and availability of paid offerings are subject to change. Taxes may apply. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Third-party processors may handle billing-refer to their terms and privacy policies.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Sections intended to survive termination will continue in effect.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country of residence unless otherwise required by mandatory law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by consumer protection rules.
